How do I join a group?
Ask the organiser to send you their group’s invite link. Open it on your phone, sign in (or create an account), and you’ll be added automatically. Each invite link is single-use, so if it stops working ask for a fresh one.
How do I create a group?
In the app, go to Groups and tap “New group”. Pick the sport (currently badminton), give it a name, and choose a skill level. You can add a photo and venues afterwards. As the creator you become the group owner.
How do I create a session?
In a group you admin, tap the “…” menu and choose “Create session”. Pick a venue from the group’s venue list, set the start time, capacity, price per head, and cancellation window. The session is published instantly.
How do RSVPs work?
When a member taps “I’m in”, their seat is reserved immediately. If the session is full, they go on the waitlist and are auto-promoted if someone else cancels. Everyone in the group sees the live headcount.
Can I cancel my RSVP?
Yes. Before the cancellation window closes you can cancel cleanly — your seat opens up and the next person on the waitlist is promoted. Inside the window, you can still cancel, but it’s flagged as a late cancellation so the organiser can see who’s doing it repeatedly.
How do payments work today?
Sportagon currently tracks cash and bank-transfer payments. When you’ve paid the organiser, mark your RSVP as paid; the organiser then confirms receipt. Card payments through the app are coming in a later release.
I’m an organiser — how do I see who has paid?
Open the session and look at the roster. Each confirmed RSVP shows a payment column. Tap a player to confirm or undo their payment.
How do I leave a group?
Open the group, tap the “…” menu, and choose “Leave group”. Owners can’t leave directly — first transfer ownership to one of your admins, then leave.
How do I delete my account?
In the mobile app, go to Profile → Account → Delete account. If you can’t access the app, email us from your account address with the subject “Delete my account”. Full steps and what we delete or keep are on our Delete account page (/delete-account). We remove your personal data within 30 days; some records (e.g. audit logs for completed payments) may be retained as required by law.
I forgot my password.
Use the “Forgot password” link on the sign-in screen. If you don’t receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or email us at the address below.

If you’ve experienced harassment or abusive behaviour in a group, or you believe someone is misusing Sportagon, please email support@sportagon.com.au. Include the group name and a brief description of what happened. Our platform team will review the report and take action — including removing members or groups — as needed.
